EBB Issue 3: Strength of Materials
Issue 3, 2025
Strength Of Materials is inspired by a field of engineering developed by Ukrainian academic Stepan Tymoshenko. Translating literally as “resistance of materials” the field is used to measure the amount of stress a material is capable of enduring before buckling. Nothing new and durable can be built without putting its construction to the test. This issue includes work across disciplines that harnesses the expression of material for political resistance.
